My greatest memories of Uncle David are the many times he opened his home to family and friends in celebration of his brothers, Uncle Elmer, birthday. These family gatherings at his home are something I will remember forever in part because of his kindness and ability to make all who came feel welcome. I will miss you Uncle Dave!

Mr. Popp was my basketball coach at Bay Port . I never played with the tenacity that would have met his expectation of me, but he never gave up.
This was a lesson in life that served me well, and I will never forget his patience with me. God Bless him and his family.

Mr. Popp was my Biology teacher at Bay Port. He certainly was patient with me. I remember one time when he burst out laughing because I was so grossed out by the frog we had to dissect...but he was patient and led me through the ordeal. I knew Margie (Maggie) and Timm and I send my deep sympathies to you as you say good-bye to your Dad. MaryKim (Plischke) Allen; Boise, Idaho

Maggie and Family, Your dad has been connected to my family for 40+ years since he was my Biology and Drivers' Ed instructor at Bay Port. I had a nice visit with him when he attended the dedication ceremony for my dad of Meadowbrook Park in Howard a couple of years ago. I know that my parents appreciated his attendance and their visit as well. Your dad was a good man and friend.
