Dolores Queoff Obituary

Queoff, Dolores J.

On November 26, 2017, Dolores J. Queoff. 100, a Green Bay resident, received her Angelic wings. She was born June 4, 1917, in Green Bay to the late Raymond and Clara (Kramer) Buth. Dolores was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She married Jerome B. Queoff on August 24, 1939, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Jerome preceded her in death on December 25, 1984. Dolores was employed by the H.C. Prange Company and later for the Diocese of Green Bay Tribunal office until her retirement. She was active in the community volunteering her time and talents at the Commission on Aging as well as the courthouse. Dolores was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Parish. She always looked forward to traveling, especially to Florida and Gulf Shores. Going out to eat was a highlight for Dolores, no matter how often or where she went. She was a card player and never backed away from a game of Cribbage. Dolores' true pride and joy was her family, mainly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the "cookie grandma", the one who never attended one of the many family functions without a dish to pass or a dessert. Dolores cherished the family get togethers, sharing stories, hugs and meals. Most acquaintances of Dolores, became friends and many times it was for a lifetime.

Dolores is survived by her two sons, Tom Queoff and his special friend, Linda Verheyden and James Queoff, both of Green Bay; seven grandchildren: Alan (Vicki) Queoff; Michael (Kelly) Queoff; Sue Konz; David (Mona) Queoff; Jamie (Sean) O'Neill; Jason Queoff and Angie Queoff; one step grandson, Jed (Sara) Vanden Langenberg; 15 great grandchildren: Katie, Cody, Kayleigh, Mackenzie, Erik, Steven, Kirsten, Christopher and Elisabeth Queoff; Ryan and Daniel Gignac; Jonathan Konz; Connor and Quinn O'Neill; Ian Way; Mia and Wren Gignac; four step great grandchildren, Melissa Sinclair, Stacy Rud and Braylon and Brindle VandenLangenberg; one brother-in-law, Jack Connerton; one sister-in-law, Priscilla Herald; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Linda Queoff; two brothers, Capt. Harold Buth, USAF and Donald Buth; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce Buth King and Bette Buth; Frances Rockey Femal, Clarence Rockey, Frank Femal, Agnes Buchanan Schaut, Henry Buchanan, Wilbert Schaut, John (Ann) Queoff, Ann (Frank) Hurckman, Sr. Joselle Queoff, Ceil (Ellsworth "Cub") Scannell, Michael Herald, Marie (Mickey) Connerton, Joseph (Berdine) Queoff and step great grandson, Kass Konz.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00- 8:00 pm Wednesday. Parish wake service Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John St. after 10:00 am until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev. Joseph Dorner officiating and Rev. Richard Getchel concelebrating. Burial in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to Dolores' family at www.prokowall.com.
