Dolores was a person who gave much of herself, her time and energy to help when asked. I'm grateful to have gotten the chance to know her in the last several years. Among many of the things Dolores did to volunteer her time, she devoted many hours of work to an early literacy project called Love Learning, helping assemble activity kits and clean books to give to young children. She was always eager to help and do what she could for others. She was a true gift to me and to many in the community and will be very missed.
