Reeb, Donald "Don" J.

Donald "Don" J. Reeb, 80, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born in Green Bay on March 4, 1934 to the late George and Alseena "Dottie" (Cole) Reeb. Don served in the US Coast Guard from 1952 to 1956. He married Marion Jane Pfister in Sturgeon Bay on Nov. 26, 1955. Don raised his family and lived in De Pere for over 30 years before moving to the Village of Howard. He was employed as a millwright supervisor at Fort Howard Paper Co. Don was an excellent golfer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, including his trips to South Dakota, woodworking, Packers and Brewers. He loved his black lab dog, Lady. Don was a loving father and grandfather. After 40 years of marriage he met his significant other, Rita LaBombarb and her family. With his declining health, his goal was to help Rita with her cancer and join her for eternity.

Survivors include his children, Cathy (Jose) Reeb-Alba, Appleton; Cindy (Tom) Bittner, Chilton; Larry (Sandy) Reeb, De Pere; Terry (Douglas) Klabunde, Plainfield; Patty (Tim) Faust, Kiel; Ron (Sue) Reeb, De Pere; 16 grandchildren, Chris (Allison) Alba; Veronica (Jeremy) Blount; Danielle (Blake Baxter) Alba; Andrew Alba; Tom Bittner; Nicole (Tony) Gates; Krystal Bittner; Aaron Klabunde; Macy Klaubunde; Ivy Klabunde; Taran Reszczynski; Kaylin (fiancé Mark Wacha) Reeb; Madelyn (friend Jacob Reitzel) Faust; Julian Faust; Noah Reeb and Natalie Reeb; 8 great grandchildren, Avery Alba; Lina Alba; Blake Gates; Danika Gates; Kyra Jones; Dominic Johnson; Kieya Hartigan; Aiden Reitzel; brother, Dick (Bev) Reeb; sister, Mary Lou Reeb; further survived by other relatives and friends especially Rita's family who were very dear to him.

Don was preceded in death by his former wife, Marion; infant son, Donald James Jr.; brother, David; his love, Rita.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane on Sunday, July 6 from 3 until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences welcome at www.PfotenhauerFuneralHome.com
