Sobieski - Doris M. Flom-Cota, 83, Sobieski, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at New Perspectives, Howard. Doris was born July 10, 1935 in Iron Mountain, MI to the late Oscar and Thelma (Jones) Flom. She married Lloyd Cota August 26, 1956. Doris loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family get togethers, and everyone enjoyed her potato salad.
Doris is survived by her husband, Lloyd Cota; two daughters, Karen (Dave) Czarnecki, Helen (Dave) Ehnerd; two sons, Terry (Sue) Cota, Steven (Sheila) Cota; a brother, Aaron (Rita) Flom; two sisters-in-law, Ida Flom, Marlene Flom; nine grandchildren, Tony Czarnecki, Kaitlyn Czarnecki (Rhan), Benjamin DeMille, Dylan Ehnerd, Madison Ehnerd, Joshua Cota, Breanna Cota, Krynn Hanold, Noah Cota; seven great-grandchildren, Jackson Willems, Liam Willems, Cianna Czarnecki, Sofia Czarnecki, Dosiah Czarnecki, Isaiah Czarnecki, Penelope Rhan. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna DeMille; a sister, Eleanor and four brothers, John, Norman, Robert and Earl.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Thursday, September 27, 2018. Memorial services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Lay Minister Jon Hansen officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.

I have many wonderful memories of Doris. A sweet lady, hard working, and a neighbor who quickly became friend to my family. I will miss her. My sympathy to all her family.
