Eric Richter 31, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, July 9, 2015.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Resurrection Catholic Parish 333 Hilltop Drive. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of Flowers a Memorial Fund has been established in his name.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I cant believe its almost been 4 years now, but theres still isnt a day that goes by that I dont see or hear of something that makes me think of you. I miss our talks throughout the day and you giving me crap about my football team, or trying to make me laugh with saying something crazy and off the wall. I miss your random snaps of the grossest things possible because you knew it got me going. Most of all I miss hearing your voice and you randomly calling me to see if Im okay because you hadnt heard from me in a few days. Your time was short in Kentucky but Im so glad I had the chance to get to know you and that you kept in touch. I wish you could have stayed a little longer and sometimes I think had you of, would your path have been different. I know you missed home, especially your parents and sister, so I understood. Definitely took too soon my friend but hopefully Ill see you again one day. Gone but never forgotten my friend. Love ya EB!!

Dear Jane and Rick,
We are so saddened to hear of the tragic death of your son... We were on our way back from Green Bay when Aunt Loretta called to tell us of the very sad news. So sorry we could not attend the memorial service but we send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. To Eric's family I am so sorry for your loss. I know no words can bring comfort in this difficult time. People say there is a plan for everyone and though it is difficult to understand what that is, I believe Eric is now in a better place watching over everyone he loved.
To "Richie" I will miss your smart attitude you were always so willing to give me and my daughter whether we wanted it or not. My daughter will always "Love you because you are gorgeous". You gave my nieces, nephew and my sister so much love and happiness, and we will all treasure the wonderful memories we had with you. We will miss the laughter you brought to all of us, and miss you so much. RIP Richie!

I thank God for the short amount of time that I was able to spend with Eric. I will cherish all the great times we had in college as roommates. It is with disbelief and complete sorrow that I send my condolences to Eric's family and loved ones. He was such a great man of strength, love, and compassion. He will be missed greatly.

I met Eric just 4 short years ago when he returned home from Trxas. He was best friends with my fiancé, and quickly became on of my best friends. Truly one of the most special people I've known. At a 4th of July picnic he was just enjoying stories with a couple of high school classmates and looking forward to standing up in a good friends wedding in August. Losing him at this young age does not seem possible. I had the pleasure of meeting Eric in college, and also working with him in Racine.He was my boss and friend. He always had a great humor about everything, and looked out for everyone before himself. His major concern was making sure everyone was taking care of before him. I will miss the humorous conversation we had, and one liner messages of " how are you?" just to make sure life is in order.
