Dear Jane and Rick,
We are so saddened to hear of the tragic death of your son... We were on our way back from Green Bay when Aunt Loretta called to tell us of the very sad news. So sorry we could not attend the memorial service but we send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Eric you were such a nice guy to work with. I was stunned to learn of this and am still in shock. You will be missed.

I thank God for the short amount of time that I was able to spend with Eric. I will cherish all the great times we had in college as roommates. It is with disbelief and complete sorrow that I send my condolences to Eric's family and loved ones. He was such a great man of strength, love, and compassion. He will be missed greatly.

I met Eric just 4 short years ago when he returned home from Trxas. He was best friends with my fiancé, and quickly became on of my best friends. Truly one of the most special people I've known. Really took the time to listen to people and cared deeply about everyone in his life. Thoughts and prayers with his parents, sister, brother in law, and nephew. You will always be in our hearts, Eric. <3

My thoughts and prayers are with the Richter family. A great man was lost to early. He will always be remembered and never forgotten. So many great times and memories. A man with a great heart with just as great of a personality.
