Klimek, Grace M. (DeVos)

Grace M. (DeVos) Klimek, 96, Green Bay, died peacefully on October 15, 2017. Born on September 25, 1921, in Casco, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pinchart) DeVos. On September 16, 1939, she married Daniel Klimek at SS. Peter and Paul Parish, and he preceded her in death on August 9, 1965. Grace worked as an office supply clerk at HC Miller, formerly the Stuebe Company, for many years. She enjoyed knitting, camping, playing cards, going on St. Philip's bus tours, and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her Thanksgiving turkey and dressing dinner.

Grace is survived by Wayne (Mary) Klimek, Ashwaubenon, Patricia (Bill) Katers, Green Bay, Chris Klimek, Green Bay, and David (Karen) Klimek, Sandia Park, NM; seven grandchildren, Nick (Paula) Katers, North Carolina, Jennifer (Edward) Messina, Virginia, Shawn Klimek, Virginia, Brad Klimek, Wisconsin, Jessica (Bob) Donato, Illinois, Adam (Jennifer) Klimek, Illinois, and Aaron Klimek (fiancé, Holly Zimmer); 15 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; one brother, Peter DeVos; one sister, Rita Corbisier; two sisters-in-law, Marguerite DeVos, and Rose Klimek; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Willard DeVos; one sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn (Al) Marsland; one brother-in-law, Marv Corbisier; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn DeVos.

Visitation at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 Ninth Street, Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Malcore Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral services, 499-4100. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
