James Cordry Obituary
James "Jim" T. Cordry Jr., 84, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at a local assisted living facility. Jim was born August 19, 1932, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Jim and Esther (Vanderheiden) Cordry. Jim graduated from Iron Mountain High School and went on to serve his country proudly in the U.S. Army and Air Force during the Korean War. He later graduated from Northern Michigan College with a bachelor's degree. In 1975 Jim married Ardele Hallett. He was a National Sales Manager for Green Bay Packaging. Jim enjoyed the family's fantasy football league and was an avid Packer fan. He enjoyed golfing and liked to read. James loved his family dearly.
Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ardele; children, Jeff (Sung Yhang) Cordry, John Cordry, Julie (Tom) Ender, Rob (Debbie) Ropson, Susan Ropson, Steve (Joan) Ropson, Beth (Adrian) Ulatowski, Jane (Tom) Harmeyer; grandchildren, Joe, Dana, Max, Jason (Robyn), Adam (Laura), Stephanie (Aaron), Jonathan, Sara, Jake, Zachary, Abbie, Macie, Sam, Hattie; great grandchildren, Britton, Grayson, Parker, Logan; a sister, Betty Klug and one brother Steve Cordry. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bob.
Family and friends may call at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Dr., on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mark VanderSteeg is officiating. A memorial has been established in Jim's name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
