So sorry for your loss. I was one of the early-morning swimmers at the Y and was blessed to get to know Jeff. He was the "super-swimmer" in the bunch, slicing thru the water with an easy strength and grace as he constantly challenged himself to excellence. His love of the sports in which he participated was infectious. He accomplished what most of us could only dream about. He always had a ready smile. So very sad to learn of his passing. May God comfort your family ~

Glenn, Fern and Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort knowing he is in a better place and no longer in pain.
I remember back when the kids were young and Jeff went up north with Rick and Jill. We adults were sitting by the camp fire and the boys were out in the field playing army and wearing their camo. We couldn't see what they were doing and who they were hiding from. We looked up and could see this white spot in the darkness - this being Jeff. It was like a fluorescent light was turned on, but shining only on Jeff. We all laughed as it was so comical.
Be sure to lean on your family and friends during this difficult time. They will want to help, but may not know how. They will be there for you.

Glenn, Fern and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jeff was a wonderful person. There are no words that can help during this difficult time. There is a lot of support out there from your families, please reach out to them, even if it is just to talk, vent, cry, laugh, or sit. Remember all the joy this young man gave to you. He truly loved all of you.
One of memories I have was the time he went up north with Rick and Jill. The boys were all out in the field playing army. We were sitting by the camp fire and although all the kids had camo on, we could pick out Jeff because of his radiant head of hair.
My sympathy is with all of you. I can only imagine what you are going through and I hope and pray you will find peace and know that Jeff is being well taken care of and is at peace.
May the good Lord help you now and forever.

I remember Jeff for his patience with Woodson and the care he showed in visiting our home when my wife had broken ribs and he taught Woodson how to be sensitive around her. God must have needed a proven friend and athlete for his flock. Woodson is the wonderful dog he is because of Jeff. God bless you Fern and hubby-Jeff Carlson

Dear Glen, Fern, and family,
Dick and I are so sorry for your loss. We didn't realize Jeff was so sick. We're sure our little Snickers will keep him company because she liked him so much! I'm sure he will have lots of company up there in heaven, with all the classes he taught over the years.
You have our deepest sympathy.
