Jodie Simoens Obituary
Jodie Margaret Simoens, 39, De Pere, died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011. She was born in Green Bay, on June 10, 1972, a daughter of Jerome and Mary (Reignier) Mooren.
Jodie loved her two daughters. She also enjoyed camping and riding her motorcycle anywhere. Jodie was a tissue donor and truly believed it was important to help others.
Jodie is survived by her parents Jerome (Mary) Mooren; two daughters, Katelyn Mary Simoens and Emilie May Simoens; two brothers, Donald J. (Debra) Mooren and Mark A. Mooren; niece, Samantha Mooren, two nephews, Kevin and Brandon Mooren. She is further survived by her special friend, Curt Fleener, and his daughter, Daniella; her daughter's father, Robert Simoens, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jodie was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 from 3 to 8 p.m. with a service to close the visitation. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the Simoens family.

Nothing we could say could possibly touch how deeply sorry we are for Jodie's entire family. Our girls are the best of friends..and I couldn't thank Jodie enough for how kind she was to Autumn and for all the places she took her with them on their family outings. Katelyn and Emilie...our hearts are breaking for you and I hope you know our home is always open to you when you need it most. Rob...may God be with you on your journey with the girls. May He heal all your hearts and allow you to remember what a wonderful Mother Jodie was. She will always be with you in spirit. God Bless All Of You

I was very sorry to hear about Jodie. I had first met Jodie at Funthumb park in Fish Creek. She was very sweet and easy going. We became roommates and I got to share a wonderful summer that I will never forget. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. Katina Wade - Green Bay, WI

Very sorry for your loss. I did not know Jody personally, but I am also a member of the Wolf River HOG chapter. I, too share the passion of motorcycling ~ we are one! YOUR loss is MY loss....my sympathy to all !!

I was very saddened to hear about this accident. I worked with Jodie for a short time and really loved her laugh! She has such a great sense of humor and her laugh really was infectious! She was so nice and always had her daughters on her mind. Your family has my deepest sympathies.

Too many high school memories to mention....but I will say we had some good times!! Jodie, Tammy, Tina and me....what DIDN'T we do?! Jodie, I will cherish the memories we all created forever! The few times I've seen you in the past years has shown that you are a WONDERFUL mom!! You will be missed dearly!! Thoughts and prayers go out to your girls and the rest of your family!!!!!!!
