Joyce Quade Obituary
Joyce D. (Froelich) Quade, 88, Green Bay, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born on May 14, 1925, in Wausau to Ewald E. and Leona A. (Beckman) Froelich.
On January 12, 1957 Joyce married Orville Quade. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1993. Joyce was a secretary for many years and worked for the FBI, Kraft Foods, Northwest Airlines, and Wisconsin Public Service. She retired from Red Owl around 1990. Joyce enjoyed photography, driving her Rav4 Toyota, raising poodles, and watching Orville do scuba diving, weight lifting, and archery. She was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary in Wausau. Joyce was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed going to the Horicon Marsh to view the bird migrations.
Joyce is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Denise (Quade) and Thomas Van Boxel, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; and her parents.
Friends may call at the chapel at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum, 2121 Riverside Dr., from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Joyce was a very good friend of the family. She took amazing photos and loved to share them with family and friends. Her greatest love was her daughter Denise. She was so proud of all her talents and accomplishments. Joyce was very witty and had a great sense of humor. Happy memories Joyce!

Joyce and I had many good times at horse shows. her daughter denise taught my dauter jennie how to ride and introduced us to art of horse shows. joyce took lots of pictures and shared them with our family.may she rest in peace. Kathy hetu.
