Leon Ott Obituary
Ivins, Utah - Leon "Lee" Ott, 85, passed away in at his home in Ivins, Utah. He was born December 28, 1932 in Green Bay, WI. He married Myrtle "Myrt" Huntington in 1952. Together they had two children, Allen and Lou Ann.
He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He made his living as a Master Plumber, sometimes working odd hours and out of town to provide for the family he loved.
Twenty-two years ago he retired to Ivins, UT and had a real fascination with desert flora and the mountains.
He loved the Green Bay Packers, to travel (visiting all but three states), jigsaw puzzles, ice cream, and anything sweet, "putzing" around his property, helping friends, strangers and most of all, he loved his family. He was the volunteer "King".
Lee is survived by his wife, Myrt of 65 years; son, Allen, daughter, Lou Ann (Patrick) O'Malley and brother, Howard. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the court yard of the Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church. Condolences to the family and the friends of Lee. My husband and I enjoyed the time we spent with Lee in activities with DASIA and The Dixie Social Club of Southwest Utah. His smile, kindness and sweet disposition will be remember by us, and many others who knew him. Our love goes out to you Myrt, at this difficult time.

Terry and Vickie Pepper knew Lee through the Dixie Social Club. We really enjoyed playing Mexican Train and Five Crowns with both of you.
Lee was so full of knowledge, so full of laughter and we really enjoyed all the wonderful fruits and vegetable you always shared with your friends.
We will miss him, but treasure his friendship.
