Lois Mae Van Derven

Milwaukee - Lois Mae Van Derven 91, joined her loving husband John of 55 years on Sunday, September 23 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved Mother of Paula, Scott (Mary) Van Derven and Beth (Tom) Kissner. Grandmother to Chris, Nick (Erin) Van Derven and Andrew (Amber) Kissner. Great-Grandmother to Owen and Cooper Van Derven. She will be missed by many other relatives and dear friends.

Born May 19, 1927 in Duluth, MN, Lois raised her family in Green Bay later settling in Milwaukee. A graduate of St. Scholastica in Duluth, she was a long time Medical Records Administrator at Milwaukee's St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a dedicated member of Corpus Christi Parish and actively involved in the Prayer Chain until her death.

A special thanks to her loving caregivers from Amada Senior Care.

Visitation Saturday, September 29 from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM, at Blessed Savior Catholic Church, 8545 W. Villard Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Private entombment Monday at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Lung Association or a charity of your choice in her name.
