Mary Jakubowski Obituary
Green Bay - Mary K. Jakubowski, 87, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. She was born on November 17, 1931, in Milwaukee, to Joseph H. and Elvina G. (Aschom) Hurm.
Mary enjoyed gardening and cooking. She also liked to spend her time playing bingo and cards, watching the Packers play, and auto racing. Most important to her was family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children, Gary T. (Linda) Zaffke, Terrence J. (Theresa) Zaffke, Geri (Steve) Long, and Karen Jakubowski; grandchildren, Jamie and Jason Zaffke, Kimberly, Arthur, and Robert Long, Melanie Polasik; great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Naimah Polasik, Tyler and Bella Zaffke, Isabella Long, Zander Zaffke; sister, Patricia Schloss;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jakubowski; four children, James and John Zaffke, Christrine Zaffke, and Lawerence Zaffke; her parents; her brothers, Walter, Clarence, Robert, and Joseph Hurm; sisters, Ruth Hurm and Mildred Pizzino.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday. The Funeral Service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. To send online condolences, please go to www.blaneyfuneralhome.com.
