BISHOP MICHAEL R. LUNSFORD

LUNSFORD, Bishop Michael R. Of Taunton passed in Boston on June 3, 2014. Longtime Bishop of Antioch Church in Taunton and presided over Antioch Ministerial Communion and Antioch Episcopal Communion. He was the senior pastor of this church since 1983. Most senior tenured pastor in the city of Taunton he also founded the Northeast School of Ministry, an accredited Bible college. Devoted husband of 32 years to Reverend Sharon (Rodrigues) Lunsford and loving father to Bethany and Rebekah Lunsford. Bishop M.R. Lunsford will Lay in State on Wednesday, June 11 from 12 noon to 7pm at his church Antioch Church 176 Somerset Ave., Taunton, MA. Celebration of Life Service will start at 7pm. Following day, Thursday, June 12he will also Lay in State from 9am to 11am at Grace Church of All Nations 451 Washington St., Dorchester, MA. Celebration of Life Service will start at 11am.
