Michael Terrien Obituary
Michael D. Terrien, 63, Green Bay, joined his loving wife in heaven on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Michael was born on May 21, 1951 in Green Bay to Donald and Marie (Kagerbauer) Terrien.
Michael was very patriotic and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a commercial plumber for more than 30 years in the Green Bay area.
He married MaryAnn Nystrom on July 11, 2004 in Green Bay. Together they enjoyed spending time at their cabin, fishing and hunting. He also had an artistic side and hand carved wooden duck decoys as a hobby.
Survivors include his children, Heather Terrien, Donn Terrien (Lisa), Jaime (Stephen) Fuge and Samantha Terrien (Daniel); stepchildren, Ed (Cassie) Piontek and John Acterberg; a granddaughter, Genevieve; step-grandchildren, Olivia, Teddy and Landon; one brother, Steve (Claudia) Terrien; three sisters, Stephanie Nies, Shelley (Dennis) Wendricks and Laurel (Joseph) Michell. Michael is further survived by his special cousin and friend, Ellen Greene; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, many dear friends and his special cat, Lily.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marie Terrien and his wife, MaryAnn Terrien.
Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 4:00 pm until the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Deacon Jim Gauthier officiating. Military honors will follow. Interment will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
A memorial fund has been established in Michael's name.
Michael's children extend a special thank you to his brother, Steve, and the staff on the 4th and 9th floor at St. Vincent Hospital for their care and concern for Michael.
