Philip Radtke Obituary
Philip K. Radtke, D.D.S. passed away August 2, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. Those wishing to sign Philip's guestbook may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Philip graduated from Algoma High School and attended Carroll College prior to enrolling in dental school. For the past 17 years, Dr. Radtke was a root canal specialist with PKR Endodontics in Michigan City, Indiana. He was a dedicated professional, Diplomat with the American Board of Endodontics, and Northwestern University Dental School Alumni.
A veteran, Colonel Radtke served in the United States Army Dental Corps for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel Richard Radtke. He leaves behind his loving family: wife, Lori Radtke; mother, Irene Radtke of Algoma; sister, Valerie Radtke of Glendale, WI; brother, Paul Radtke and Donna Hansen of Crivitz, WI; and many loving relatives and friends; as well as his beloved terriers Chauncey and Chihuly.
He was an accomplished fly-fisherman and avid hunter. He remains in our hearts forever as a gentle, caring soul whom we cannot imagine life without.
As a memorial, kindly consider a donation to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. www.lustgarten.org. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Dr. Radtke performed 3 root canals for me over the past 8 years. He was always very nice and put me at ease. Also, I never felt any pain; he was that good! I pray that the memories of your loved one has brought comfort over the last year.

Dear Lori. We are so very sorry to hear about Phil. We know how very much you will miss him. Yes, it is a struggle but you are a strong woman and will emerge some day with your heart healed again. Time, as trite as it sounds, is the great healer along with God's loving grace. May He bless you abundantly and carry you on the days you need Him most.
