Robert "Bob" M. Franda

De Pere - Robert "Bob" M. Franda, 83, De Pere, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Bob was born on December 7, 1937 in Door County, the son of the now late George and Vera (Vogel) Franda. On December 1, 1956 he married the former Joanne Swoboda at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, in Brussels. Bob was a Warehouse Supervisor at Super Valu Foods for many years until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending much of his time after retirement in the woods at their cottage in Wausaukee. Bob was a very giving and loving person who always went out of his way to help others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.

Bob is survived by his loving wife: Joanne, his children: Greg (Debbie) Franda, Darchelle (Steve) Motiff, Laine (Tim) Harteau, Lindi (Guy) DeShaney, Rob (Kim) Franda, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and 2 brothers-in-law: Jeanette (Leonard) Klappauf, Lou Neuville, 1 sister-in-law: Judy Franda. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Ray Franda, 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Delores (Bernie) Pierre, 1 sister-in-law: Theresa Neville.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 220 South Michigan Street, De Pere. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Matt Faucett officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a Memorial Fund has been established in his name.
