Sue Wauson Obituary

Sue Ann Paplham Wauson

Temple, TX - Sue Ann Paplham Wauson was surrounded by her family when she went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2018 after a long hard-fought battle with cancer.

Sue was born to Milton and Eleanore Paplham in Green Bay, Wisconsin on November 30, 1948. She was a graduate of West High School, Green Bay, WI as well as the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio (BBS Physical Therapy). She spent the early years of adulthood working as a teacher's aide and special education school bus driver in Mineral Wells, Texas as well as raising her two sons. Sue radiated the love of Christ, impacting many lives during her life. Her joy was caring about and for other people which she was able to do working as a physical therapist the last 25 years (13 years at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio with the last 12 years at Scott & White in Temple, Texas.).

She is survived by her spouse of almost 25 years Marc Wauson of Temple, Texas, her mom, Eleanore Paplham of Green Bay, WI; sons Jeff Zuelsdorf & wife Andrea of Belton, Texas and Jeremy Blohowiak & wife Norma of Granbury, Texas; three grandchildren Aleck and Macie Blohowiak of Granbury, Texas & Zachary Zuelsdorf of Belton, Texas; brother Tom Paplham & spouse Dianne of Green Bay, WI; nephew Jacob Paplham & wife Anna of Green Bay, WI; brother-in-law Larry Wauson & spouse Audrey of Waco, Texas, sister-in-law Patricia Wauson Dickerson & husband John of Parker, Colorado; mother-in-law Joanne Wauson of Waco, Texas and many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncle.

The family would especially like to thank the nursing staff of Scott & White 5th floor STC (Giselle, Bonnie and Lorris) and the 4th floor inpatient hospice nursing staff for their love and gentle care of Sue during her last days with us.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 pm Saturday, August 25 2018 at Temple Bible Church (Creekside Center), Temple, Texas with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Temple Bible Church, 3205 Oakview Dr., Temple, Texas 76502.
