Summer Schmidt Obituary
She was born January 6, 1994 in Kaukauna to Lee and Ellen Schmidt. Summer graduated from Morrison Zion Lutheran School and was a graduate of Wrightstown High School. She was employed at Best Craft Furniture. She started cleaning at sixteen and when she was eighteen she was offered a job sewing and then went to material cutting.
Survivors include her father, Lee Schmidt and special friend Deb; her Mom and step dad, Ellen and Jim Ingish; 2 brothers: Akaiye and Dakota Schmidt; 2 step brothers: Travis and Jason Ingish; a step sister, Brittany Ingish; Summer's special friend, Mike Ebben; maternal grandparent, Ruth Zeamer; step grandparent, Evelyn Ingish; paternal grandparents, Steven Magolski and Susan Vanden Heuvel Magolski, Dale and Nancy Schmidt; great grandmother Cora Lemke; further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by great grandparents, Edward and Malinda Ihlenfeldt, grandfather, Edward Ihlenfeldt, Jr.; great grandpa, Alfred Lemke; step grandfather, Melvin Zeamer; great grandpa, Sonny (Walter) Schmidt; great grandparents, Lois and Rich Vanden Heuvel; great uncle, Dave Vanden Heuvel.
Family and friends may call on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 7395 County Road W, Morrison, WI until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Randy Ott officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison assisting the family.
You grew to be a fine, wonderful woman who brought great joy to our family. We are so grateful to have had you in our life. Our love for you will always keep you with us. Summer, you are an amazing soul that touched so many peoples live's in beautiful ways. I am in shock and will spend many moments reflecting on the times I got to know you as your art teacher. My son Troy will always remember hanging out with you and I'm glad we both could enjoy your friendship. There is nothing more difficult than the loss of a child, too soon, far too soon. Your beautiful smile and personality will always be remembered. Rest easy in the wings of a angel as someone will rest in your wings too.

It all just seems like a bad dream. Summer was so excited when Mitch & I bought the house she grew up in & we were always playing phone tag for her to come see it. July 4th, 2007 she painted her name above our kitchen sink, I will never have the heart to paint over it, but it's her sign that she will always be with us. Summer was beautiful inside & out & so kind to everyone she met. She was the kind of beautiful that this world is lacking more & more of every day.
