FAIRBORN - Audrey Neal, age 91 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday August 26, 2015. She was born December 11, 1923 in Wayne County, WV, the daughter of the late Alva and Myrtle (Crabtree) Ball. Audrey was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Fairborn; and she retired as a sales clerk with Sloan's Drug Store. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ward in 1982; son-in-law, Richard Steinbarger; a brother; and three sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Steinbarger of Fairborn; a son, James (Annette) Neal of Georgia; granddaughter, Gwendolyn Neal; brother, Carlos (Mary) Ball of West Virginia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday August 31, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 10:30 A.M., Rev. Ron Plemons officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the Docks Creek Cemetery in Kenova, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
