XENIA — Bonnie Lou Ritz, age 75 of Xenia, loving mother of two children; grandmother of 3 and great grandmother of 2; went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 11, 2021. She was born March 2, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Margaret Mason. Bonnie had been a dedicated member of the Arrowbrook Baptist/ New Beginnings Church in Xenia since 1972. She was an avid reader and flower gardener, keeping an immaculate yard. She was inseparable from her identical twin sister, Connie Linkhart until her passing in 2005. She loved to visit the beach, and proudly spent many winters at the Grand Villa, in Orlando, Florida. Bonnie retired from Vernay Labs. She also retired as a daycare aide with the Fairborn St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She graduated from Greeneview High School, Class of 1964. Her survivors include her daughter: Nicole McCann of Miamisburg; son: Nathan (Charlotte) Ritz of TX; brother: Ron (Julie) Mason of Xenia; 3 grandchildren: Tyler Eneix, Brayton and Truett Ritz and 2 great grandchildren: Carter and Kaiden Eneiz; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister: Connie Linkhart. Due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19, the family has opted for private services to be held 11:30 AM Thursday, June 17th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St. with Dan Williams officiating. Burial to follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Visitation for close family and friends will begin at 10:30 AM Thursday.
