XENIA — Carol McCoy, 65, passed away on March 27, 2014, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Warren McCoy; a brother and grandsons: Richard Scott Kohlbacher and Mike Lovejoy. Carol married Warren McCoy on May 19th 1980. She was a graduate of Xenia High School class of 1966. Carol dedicated her life taking care of others. Carol retired from Hospitality Homes East after 33 years of faithful service. Carol is survived by two daughters: Shannon De'Ann Kolhbacker of Xenia and Kathy Jo Hamilton of Springfield, Ohio; grandsons: Christopher Kohlbacher, Dakota Koons, and Joshua Hamilton; granddaughters: Brittany Joseph, Bridgett Hamilton and 2 great-grandsons. Carol is also survived by a special sister Melva Ann Hutchinson of Franklin, Ohio and a older brother: Dale Wayne of Xenia, Ohio. The family would like to thank Dr. Byers and Hospitality Homes East for their care and support. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
