Donald Lowe Obituary
JAMESTOWN — Donald C. Lowe, 80, of Jamestown, died Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born January 18, 1942 in Dayton, the son of Donald L. and Mary (Dietz) Lowe. Donald was a proud 1960 graduate of Beavercreek High School. He was a member of the Jamestown Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder. Donald was a member and served as President of the Beavercreek Kiwanis, the Greene County Historical Society and Greene County Farm Forum. He loved to travel, ride steam powered trains and reading sci-fi and mystery novels. Donald is survived by his wife, Joyce (Lewis); daughter, Elizabeth (Thomas) Whitman; sisters, Mary (Lee) Brady and Faith (Rick) Patrick. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Carr Lowe; parents; sisters, Donna Lowe and Patty Newsome. Funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, September 8th at McColaugh Funeral Home, where visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Silvercreek-New Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
