Ronald Bachmann Obituary
FAIRBORN — Ronald H. Bachmann, age 86 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday July 4, 2021 at the Preserve at Beavercreek. He was born May 31, 1935 in Elwood, Indiana, the son of the late Hugo and Alice (Clendenen) Bachmann. Ronald served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years and was employed as a design engineer, retiring from Zed Industries in 2007. An avid golfer, Ronald enjoyed many rounds over the years with good friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Hilda; a daughter, Linda (Phil) Merrill of Bellbrook; a son, Brian (Sonja) Bachmann of Beavercreek; four grandchildren, Conner, Alex, Jessica, Cody; a great-granddaughter, Ava; and a sister, Cathryn Stacey of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn. Condolences may be made to the family at www.BeltonStroup.com.
