XENIA — Stephen L. Mustard, 68, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at St. Leonard's of Centerville. He was born March 30, 1954, in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of James Mustard and Norma Jean Ray Rudy. He is survived by his aunt, Noraetta (Dewitt) Brehm, sister, Teresa Holbrook, step-sister, Susan (Frank) LaSota, step-brother, John Rudy, and nieces and nephews, Michael Anthony, Amy Holbrook Mowbray, Megan Anthony, Betsy Holbrook Engels, Alison Ruffin, Cady Holbrook, and Audrey Holbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents. Stephen was a 1972 graduate of Xenia High School and had a nearly 40 year career as a machinist. He was an avid morel mushroom hunter and devoted "cat dad" to Punkin and Purdy. He loved his family and was a serious movie buff. A private gathering of family will be held to celebrate Stephen's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to Hospice of Dayton or any cat rescue.
