Stephen Shoup Obituary
XENIA — Stephen P. "Steve" Shoup, age 68 of Xenia passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Marcus and Dorothy Shoup, brother Marcus Shoup II, and sister Mimi Spangler. He is survived by his sons Stephen (Molly) Shoup and Andrew Shoup, granddaughter Kenzie Shoup, and sisters Karen Leon, Anne Shoup, Julia Reed, Adele Daskalakis, and Elizabeth James. A Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at St Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. Celebrant Fr. Andrew Cordonnier. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Steve. Steve and I dated in the early 2000's for a couple of years but still remained friends after we went our separate ways. We have kept in touch through social media over the last few years. I knew that he was ill and reached out back in December and he had told me he was not doing well. He will certainly be missed and always in my heart.
