Brian Key Obituary

Brian M. Key passed away Sunday.

He was a man of strength, a man of love, and a man that was loved more than he could ever imagine. He was invited into those golden gates of Heaven by our Lord and Savior, Jesus and by his baby brother, Dustin A. Key.

Brian was a master plumber who worked hard at his skill. He blessed each and every person who ever had the privilege of knowing him. His smile was so bright, the sun would come out even in the darkest night. He was a loving and dedicated father and husband. He was a true friend to those he loved. But if there was one thing everyone knew about Brian, it is that he was a Momma's boy. There isn't another boy in the world that loved their momma more, so this is not goodbye, this is see you later lil' brother. Have fun walking the streets of gold. Forever and ever, Amen.

Brian is survived by his wife: Brandy Key, who loved and cherished him as he was her whole life and heart; a daughter: Bryleigh Key, who adored him; a son: Dustin Key, who idolized him; his mother: Mona Lisa Johnson, who worshiped the ground he walked on; a sister: Robbie Moore, who tried to heal every wound and who would change places with no questions asked; his grandmother: Stella May Lowe; aunts and uncles: Benjamin Jake Lowe Jr. and Jackie Lambert; nieces: Halie Alyssa Lambert and Adrianna Barbragene Lambert; favorite cousins: Chelsea Gray and Benjamin Lambert; his mother-in-law: Dee Shores; and his father-in-law: Ronnie Starnes.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin A. Key.

Family and friends are requested to meet Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery for the 10 a.m. graveside service. The Rev. Paul Moyers will officiate.
