James Duncan Obituary

James M. "Mike" Duncan, 73, of Morristown, passed away Sept. 29, 2024.

He had served in the National Guard for many years and was a mechanic.

He is survived by a son: Josh Duncan; and two grandsons: Nicholas and Jayden Duncan, all of Morristown. He is also survived by a sister: Mendy and Dean Cutshaw; three brothers: Ricky and Sandra Finkle, Mark and Tammy Duncan, and Craig and Debrah Duncan, all of Greeneville.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Mae Duncan; a son: Todd Duncan; his mother: Mary Duncan; and his father and stepmother: James R. and Linda Duncan.

A private celebration of his life will be held by his family with burial in Hamblen Gardens at a later date.

R.I.P. Brother Mike. Always enjoyed seeing you, and serving with you. Glad we were able to make one more breakfast together at the Armory and see all the "old souls" and enjoy the day. Save this old dog face soldier a place, I'll be along to reunion with you soon.
