Kristi Lou Cox Ford, 66, of Midway, passed away Monday morning at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Rex and Clyde Ragon Cox.
Kristi was outgoing, always smiling, and constantly willing to help others. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Greene County Drug, where she was a friend to many and enjoyed helping the customers. Kristi was a fierce defender of her family and friends, always standing up for the "underdog." Kristi will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years: John Ford; four children: Kelly and John Cash, Kasey and Daniel Johnson, Kellon Jon Ford, and Kayla Alice and Brad Barnard; 17 grandchildren: Kollin Cash, Karlyn (Matt) Cash, Kenna Cash, Karaline (Edwin), Korbin Cash, Karson (Rebekah) Cash, Kolton Cash, Klaire Cash, Kemry Cash, Alex Johnson, Avry Johnson, Kerrigan Cash, Mason Scott, Addison Johnson, Kipton Cash, Millie Lou Barnard, and Kian Cash; one sister and brother-in-law: Beverly and Steve Brown; two nephews: Spencer Brown, and Gavin and Nikki Brown; four great-nieces: Chloe Brown, Cambrie Brown, Haleigh Wykle, and Ashleigh Starnes; three aunts: Bobbie Cox, Mary Cox, and Wanda Cox; and several cousins.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Donnie Bible and the Rev. Jesse Bible will officiate.
