Mary Miller Obituary
Mary Jane Miller, 75 , of Afton died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Mary Jane is the daughter of John Ira and Margaret Carter Collins. She graduated from North Greene High School in 1968 and retired from Food City. She loved Jesus and her family more than anything. She lived in Greene County her whole life.
She is survived by her husband Eddie "Dean" Miller, her son Marlin Shelton II, daughter Misty (Greg) Sybrant of Evans, GA, son Dallas (Christina) Gardner. Her grandchildren which were the "apple of her eye" Ashley (Nathan) Morgan, Alyssa (Eric) Dyer of Johnson City, TN, Jordan (Lindsey) Gardner, Andrew Gardner, Jacob (Loey) Gardner of Martinez, GA, Dallas Aron (Kara) Gardner of Martinez, GA, Joshua Sybrant of Evans, GA and Sarah Sybrant of Evans, GA. Great grand babies: Maverick Morgan, Willow Jane Morgan, Zeke Dyer of Johnson City, TN, Norah Kate Dyer of Johnson City, TN, Oliver Gardner, Archie Gardner, Evangelina Blaire Gardner of Martinez, GA. Her brothers Johnny (Sharon) Collins, Willie (Shirley) Collins of Murfreesboro, TN. Sisters-in-law Anita Bible and Rhonda (Larry) Belt. A special niece Kylie Frye, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her precious daughter Marla Gardner, her sister Mildred "Libby" Vereckee and her parents, John Ira and Margaret Collins.
The Family will receive friends Friday, February 13th from 2-4 at Jeffers funeral service of Afton with the funeral service to follow. There will be a private family burial scheduled at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations made to Greene County Food bank.
