Ralph Edward Smith

Born: September 22, 1965 | Died: October 31, 2025

Ralph Edward Smith, age 60, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday after a seven-year battle with cancer.

Ralph was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many.

Survivors include one son: Hunter Smith (Ryeleigh Automn); one daughter: Taylor Smith (Marcelino Bobadilla); parents: Carolyn and Robert Adams; siblings: Christina (John) Sapp, Janie Douthat, Thomas (Lori) Smith, Walker (Teresa) Smith, and Allan Smith; nieces and nephews: Katie Crawford, Sarah Odum, Holly Vargas, Emily Griffith, Trey Douthat, Ben Douthat, Tori Barnes, Conner Smith, Ethan Smith, Austene Smith, and Laney Lawson; uncle: Clois (Betsy) Ramsey; special friends: Archie Mullins, Rachel Burleson, Jim Bo, and Bobby.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Elsie Ramsey; uncles: Huey Ramsey and Wilmer Ramsey; aunt: Agnes Babb; and Autumn Smith, who was the mother of his children.

The family will receive at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday with funeral services following at 7 p.m.

Family and friends are asked to gather at Doughty-Stevens at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to Fairview Cemetery (Snapps Ferry Road) for the committal service.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
