Ronald H. Fulton, 80, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Jan. 28 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
Mr. Fulton retired after 40 years of service from Amtrak.
He received a heart transplant more than 21 years ago and outlived the prognosis he had been given.
Mr. Fulton was a member of the Eagles Club and loved playing the lottery.
Steak and Shake was he favorite restaurant to visit sometimes daily.
Survivors include his son: John and Karen Fulton of Indianapolis; a granddaughter: Leeane and Marcus Deleval of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren: Scottie Rapp, Michael Deleval and Richard Deleval; and several cousins in Tennessee and Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Joyce L. Fulton; and his parents: John and Audra Hysinger.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Fain will officiate.
Graveside services will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
