Warren Gaby Obituary
Warren Gaby
Born: September 4, 1943 | Died: November 13, 2025
In a perfect goodbye that could only have been written by the great author, Warren Gaby said farewell to this world. He was surrounded by his best girl, family, granddaddy cookies and Green Acres. Warren, known to his Mountain Valley Church family as Lucky the 3-legged dog, is celebrating his healed body in the Golden Fields of heaven.
Warren knew when he saw his best girl, Alice Scott Gaby, in that yellow suit and she said "Hello" that she would be his forever girl. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in January. Warren said his 2 daughters were worth more than 10 boys; Donna and Gary Rose, Angie and Jason Daniels. The world changed for Warren and Alice when their grandkids came along. If you've ever had a conversation, even briefly, you've heard about his grandkids. Granddaddy had a love that had no limits for Alan & Maggie Rose, Chrissy Rose, Mason & Jenna Daniels and Aidan Daniels (& Aspen Carter). From lacrosse fields, to cheer competitions, football fields, golf courses, show rings, tractor rides, multiple song requests at church, go-kart rides, gater trips across the creek, handyman & woodworking training, waking up to Blood on the Saddle, phone wallpaper changes, and too many more memories to ever attempt to list… Granddaddy already had a piece of heaven on earth.
Warren worked the family farm, with his best friend and little brother, Johnny (& Stephanie) Gaby and nephew, Henry (& Chrissy) Gaby, his whole life. He was proud of the herd of cows but his hardest work and pride came in the fields. He was able to help on this year's corn crop and worried about getting the "best corn in the county" harvested, but his nephew made sure that happened. Johnny & Warren loved working with their kids and grandkids taking the Gaby Jerseys to the fairs. Warren's niece, Rachel (& Josh) Cloyd and their kids work hard to continue that legacy.
His sister, Marie (& Jim) Everhart was his biggest fan and cheerleader. She kept him fed with his favorite soup and full of love.
Warren is joining his parents, Ralph & Mary Ann Gaby, his grandparents, several aunts and uncles for a big celebration in heaven.
