Esau Cisneros Obituary
Esau, sometimes known as Mark to friends and family, never met a garage sale or auction that he didn't like. He saw the value in everything, especially the things other people may have overlooked. He lived with curiosity and always was working on a project or invention. He excelled when working with his hands, especially his garden, growing vegetables and roses. He enjoyed creating beautiful metalworks of art and sold many of his pieces. Most important in his life was his faith. He loved Jesus and tried to be a man who followed after him.
Esau is survived by his wife, Sandra Cisneros; children, Kristina (Kent) Jamison; Mark (Beatriz Bravo) Cisneros; grandchildren, Marcos Cisneros (Maddy Cohen); Mariana (Amira Shotwell) Cisneros; and Ashley (Noel) Cisneros Ritter; great-grandchildren, Mae Shalom and Emma Joy Ritter; sister-in-law and brother in-law, Cathy and Mike Matthews, and nephews, Joshua, Joseph and Adam (Jessy) Matthews and great nephew, Miles Blue; brother, David Cisneros; Baltazar (Josie) Cisneros, and sister, Ruthie Cisneros. Esau is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above, and brother Gasper Cisneros.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
