I had the pleasure of playing duplicate bridge in Morehead City when he visited. He spoke of himself humbly as a blueberry farmer and dressed the part when he came. A good player, his commentary was always laced with light humor. Such a man will surely be missed by many.

I had the pleasure working with who I believe was Benjamin Cone's son B.C. at Guilford Mills for a short time. If senior was like his son he was a good man. Smart, articulate and determined. BC, I am sorry for your and your families loss.

Our initial acquaintance was made in October 1971 at a Greensboro Jewish Federation meeting. We were very impressed with Benji's wit intelligence and warmth. Our deepest sympathy.

Growing up with Benji´s two older sisters, I send them, as well as Betty, my deepest condolences. I came to know Benji later in life as an adult. Every time we were together, we had a laughathon. I will miss him and his humor. In sympathy, Mike Weaver
