Blanche Acquisto Obituary
January 22, 1933 - January 31, 2023
In memory of Blanche Louise Acquisto, born January 22, 1933, passed Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 90 years young. She was the daughter of Foreman and Ollie Perkins, sister to Donald J Perkins who preceded her in death December, 1993, and married for 40 years to Charles Acquisto, who preceded her in death December, 1992.
Blanche is survived by Jack Perkins and his family in Hartfield, MO, Tom Perkins and his family in Redondo Beach, Calif., Lisa Gregory and her family in Lancaster, Calif., Trish Morris and her family in Greensboro, N.C. She worked for Union Oil as one of 5 executive secretaries in a management capacity overseeing dealer distribution and oil shale exploration.
Blanche and Charlie moved to Greensboro from California in 1988 and enjoyed an active life enjoying golf and revolutionary war history. She was involved with the Guilford Battleground Company supporting the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Her strength, love and generosity will be carried forth in all she touched.
