GREENSBORO CLIFFORD OWEN STOUTZ, 69, PASSED AWAY Friday, January 2, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.The family will receive friends Saturday, January 10, 2015, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel.Cliff was born November 16, 1945 in Fort Jackson, SC to the late Frederick and Aulene Stoutz. After serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as a paratrooper, he also became a Green Beret. Cliff later became the owner of CS & P Supply, "The Plumbing Store," a position he held for 40 years. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Greensboro Masonic Lodge No. 76. Cliff enjoyed wood working but his true passion was deep sea fishing.He is survived by his wife, Korie Stoutz. Also surviving is son, Mike Stoutz and wife, Kristin, his daughter, Cristy Stoutz-Curlott and husband, Seph, both of Greensboro, NC, step-daughter, Beth Honeycutt and husband, Chris of Greenville, SC. In addition, he is survived by a brother, Jim Stoutz and wife, Gaynelle. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cammie-J, Ayden, Cord, Clay, Donovan and Ellie.The family wishes to acknowledge and give special thanks to his dear friend and fishing buddy, Dr. Chris Barber.Online condolences may be sent to www.forbisanddick.com.
