GREENSBORO ERNESTINE WINSTON ROBERTS, 73, OF Greensboro, NC, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital.Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 12:00 pm at United Institutional Baptist Church, 802 East Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401, with visitation from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will also receive friends at the home, 2016 Ashley Drive, Greensboro, NC.Ernestine was born September 2, 1942 in Creedmoor, NC to the late Doc and Ethel Moore Winston. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Roberts and her brother James McCoy Winston (Jackie).She is survived by two daughters, Alycia Fritts (Russell) and Tonya Roberts; two sons, Donaldson Roberts and Anthony Todd Roberts (Tanya); three grandchildren, Garrett Roberts, Nyikos Fritts and Olivia Roberts; one sister, Patricia Green (John Earl); four brothers, Robert Nelson Winston, Irvin Winston (Barbara), Percy Winston (Sharilynn) and William Winston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Autism Society of NC, Guilford County Chapter in memory of Ernestine Roberts; Attn: Donations Coordinator, 505 Oberlin Rd, Suite 230, Raleigh, NC 27605. Arrangements by Hargett Funeral Home.
