Mary Florence Radford Buck, fondly known as "Flo," passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Spring Arbor of Greensboro. She was 85 years old. Flo was born in Henderson, NC, the daughter and only child of the late Lillian and Carlton Radford. She was a graduate of the Woman's College of Greensboro and retired from a career as a well-loved elementary school teacher. Flo was a woman of faith who is now watching over us from above. She had a number of interests including gardening, playing tennis, swimming, square dancing and shag dancing to beach music with numerous trips to Cherry Grove to enjoy this pastime. She was a kind and generous woman who absolutely adored her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her daughter, Karen Regan, her husband, Tom and grandson, Buck; daughter, Laura Buck and granddaughter, Morgan; and her beloved sweetheart, Edward Boone and his sons, Brian and Jason. She is preceded in death by her parents and aunt and uncle, Mary and Charles Snow.

A visitation for friends to express their condolences to the family will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Forbis and Dick, Guilford Chapel at 5926 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410 with memorial service following at 2 p.m. The family would like to thank all of those who have offered such compassionate care to Flo, especially as her battle with dementia had progressed.
