Mrs. Gail Darlene Jessup Christman, 64, passed away October 3, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Guilford County on September 22, 1961, to the late Arvid R. Jessup and Madlean True Jessup. Gail loved shopping, gardening with flowers, the beach, her dogs, but most of all her granddaughter, and watching her ball games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Candice Brittany Toler. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Michael Christman; one daughter, Brandi Michelle Hodges (John); one granddaughter, Henley Grace Hodges; and one sister, Robin Toler.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Nick McCorquodale officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday evening, October 9, 2025, at the funeral home.
