Mr. Gwyn Ingle, 71, of Gibsonville, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Cynthia Secor Ingle, who survives, and the son of Lee Ingle and Macy Johnson Ingle, both deceased. He was a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, class of 72, and was a retired mental health administrator and consultant.

Mr. Ingle was a lifelong member of Springwood Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder and Sunday School teacher. He was a Boy Scout leader and member of the Whitsett Ruritan Club. Gwyn enjoyed a wide circle of friends including his recent membership in the OFBC breakfast club. He loved spending time outdoors and was an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his brothers, Larry Ingle and wife Becky of Chattanooga, TN and Stephen Ingle of Greensboro; beloved nephews and nieces, Art (DeeDee), Chris, Zachary, Matthew, Jaan (Dirk), Jon, Richard (Krista), and Gordon; beloved grand nephews and nieces, Martin, Clara, London, Wilson, Lila, and Lee; sisters-in-law, Judy Ingle of Winston-Salem and Sharon Kita and husband Jon of Chesapeake, VA; brother-in-law, David Secor and wife Jan of Greensboro; and a multitude of cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ingle.

The funeral service will be conducted at Springwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. by Rev. Marybeth Asher-Lawson with a reception to greet friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
