Jeffrey Burroughs Obituary
GREENSBORO JEFFREY JEFF WILLIAM BURROUGHS, age 55, passed away on Friday, February 22ndat Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC from natural causes. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 2 pm at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC. A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home one hour prior from 1- 2pm before proceeding to the cemetery. Jeff was born and raised in Greensboro, NC; graduate of Smith High School, drove a school bus for 8 years, and was employed at UPS for 20 years as a truck driver. He loved Nascar, wrestling, football, and animals. Jeff was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Ocie Burroughs, and Albert and Clearie Handy, all of Eden, NC. Jeff is survived by his parents, William A. Burroughs and Gloria Handy Burroughs of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Nicole Johnson and husband Mark of Alaska; son, Rusty Burroughs of Midland, NC; and sister, Wendy Burroughs of McLeansville, NC. And a aunt and cousins from Eden, NC. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Hospital in Jeff's memory. Online condolences to www.fairfuneralhome.com
