KAY SNEAD DOVE REIDSVILLE Kay Snead Dove, 61, of 168 Dove Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday September 21, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Larsen officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Kay was born in Rockingham County to the late, Martin Willie and Brookxie Foster Snead. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She lived her faith and loved her family dearly. Holidays were always a time for celebration, wonderful food and enjoying fellowship with her family. She also enjoyed vacationing with her family at Myrtle Beach. Kay is survived by her husband, Mike Dove of the home; her children, Misty Dove Fincanon and husband, Kenny, Michael Scott Dove and Robert "Robbie" Dove and wife, Amanda all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Brittany Fincanon Smith and husband, David, Lc. Corp. Steven Fincanon (USMC), Will Dove and Gunner Dove; great grandson, Luke Smith; brother, Jackie Snead and wife, Brenda of Reidsville; sisters, Jane Snead Evans, Peggy Snead Booth and husband, Curtis and Gayle Snead Garner and husband, Phil all of Reidsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
