Kenneth Wayne Vaughn, born on February 02, 1954, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. Wayne was a beloved brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him. He was a member of Oak Level Baptist Church and had a passion for NASACR and enjoyed spending time with his brother and sisters and all his nieces and nephews. Wayne's warm smile, sense of humor, and caring heart brought joy to everyone around him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Harvey and Beulah White Vaughn.
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Frances Jones (Clyde), Brenda Coe, and Patsy Dixon (Jimmy); one brother, William Harvey Vaughn (Lucille); and numerous extended family also survive
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Oak Level Baptist Church Stokesdale, NC, with Rev. Jerry Walker officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 to 3 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Oak Level Baptist Church 1569 Oak Level Church Rd, Stokesdale, NC 27357.
