KERNERSVILLE Logan Jayce Spruill, age 7, was born on January 6, 2012, and departed this life on January 16, 2019. With his beautiful smile and personality, he touched so many people in his short stay here. Logan loved playing outdoors on his trampoline, swing set and anything in the dirt, including any kind of bugs. He attended Colfax Elementary School, loved riding the bus and being with his friends. He was excited each day to be there. Left to cherish his memory are his legal guardians/grandparents with whom he lived, Jaycee and Dorothy Spruill; his biological father, Duane Spruill of Summerfield; his biological mother, Ashley Weldy of Kernersville; a sister, Selina of Greensboro; a brother, Aaron of the home; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor David Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Springs Baptist Church in Stokesdale. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
