Mark House Obituary
January 19, 1961 - February 8, 2024
Mark Christopher House, age 63, passed away on February 8, 2024, following a lengthy illness. Mark was predeceased by his beloved parents, Reba Stancil House and Lawrence E. House. He was born in Greensboro and was a lifelong resident. Mark attended Grimsley High School, GTCC, and was a 1989 graduate of Guilford College with a major in History. Mark leaves behind his three older siblings: Larry S. House (Janey), Pelzer,SC; Jane H. Burton (Frank), Greensboro,NC; and Bradley S. House, Cary,NC. Also his loving nieces: Lauren H. Zeldin, Atlanta,GA; Amy H. Thurston, Atlanta,GA; Melissa H. Rhoads (Jonathan),Bethesda,MD; Jennifer H. Bobalik (Paul) Cary,NC, and two nephews: Bryan L. Burton (Emma), New York,NY; and Christopher J. Burton (Neil), Marietta,GA, as well as one great niece, four great nephews, and thirteen first cousins.
The family would like to thank Alpine Health and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of Randolph County for the excellent care given to Mark. We would also like to thank Mark's longtime friends Jeanne Harville Roberts and Jeff Bryan for being there for Mark.
Mid-State Cremation and Funeral Services of Asheboro, NC is assisting the family. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Mark's family later this year.
