GREENSBORO NANCY BURCHELL POUEYMIROU, 79, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2015. She was born in Patterson, NJ on March 31, 1936 to Ange and Ralph Burchell. An only child, she was raised with loving grandparents, Thomas "Poppi" Luddy and Mary "Nana" Luddy with her favorite Aunt Rosella Luddy. She attended Mount Saint Vincent College and graduated from Seton Hall University. Nancy married Roger Poueymirou and had four wonderful children, James, Robert, Thomas and Katherine. Together they lived in Emerson, NJ and Tehran, Iran. She travelled the world and relocated to Greensboro, where they raised their family. Nancy was avid reader, needle pointer, singer, history buff and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by Roger, James (Jennifer), Robert, Thomas (Diane), Katherine and grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas and Abigail. There will be a memorial mass held at 11 a.m. on April 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Church. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday April 26, 2015 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel.In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Nancy B. Poueymirou care of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Monsignor Pharr- Education Fund at 2201 West Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina 27403. The family is being served by Forbis & Dick N.
