Nancy Roland Obituary

EDEN NANCY DIXON ROLAND, AGE 84, OF EDEN, PASSED away Friday morning March 20, 2015 at Brian Center of Eden. The funeral service will be held Monday March 23rd, 11 a.m. at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery.Mrs. Roland was born June 3, 1930 to the late Walter B. and Clara Pearl Dixon in Reidsville, NC. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband William "Bill" F. Roland, Sr. of the home, one son William F. Roland, Jr. and wife Kalynn of Reidsville, NC, sister Marilyn Dattero of Reidsville, NC, three grandchildren Kyle, Sarah and Erica Roland all of Reidsville, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceeding her in death along with her parents are one brother Phillip Dixon, and three sisters Marsha Smith, Wanda O'Connor, and Linda Gray Walters.The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Eden Brian Center and also to Dr. Zack Hall and Dr. Xaje Hasanaj for their care and kindness to Nancy. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Fair Funeral Home Chapel and other times at the home of Bill and Kalynn Roland. Donations in her name can be made to the Salvation Army; 314 Morgan Rd. Eden NC 27288. Online condolences can be made to www.fairfuneralhome.com
